to the office.
Dental Monitoring is a phone-based check-in tool we use between in-office visits. You scan, we review, and you only come in when an actual adjustment is needed.
Three steps. Phone in hand.
Dental Monitoring sits between you and our office. You handle the scans; we handle the clinical calls.
- No. 01Scan from home, every one to two weeksYou scan your teeth with the Dental Monitoring app using a small ScanBox that snaps onto your phone. The whole process takes about three minutes and replaces a routine in-office check.
- No. 02Our team reviews your scan, usually within a dayDr. Hoffman or Dr. Montoya reviews the scan and flags anything that needs attention. You get a message in the app confirming your progress, telling you to move to the next aligner, or asking you to come in.
- No. 03You only come in when an actual adjustment is neededIn-office checks happen roughly every 8 to 12 weeks instead of every 4 to 6. Emergencies, broken brackets, refinements, and the final retainer fitting still happen in the chair.
“Most of our patients drive twenty to forty minutes for a five-minute check. Dental Monitoring replaces those routine visits with a scan from your kitchen — and gives us earlier eyes on anything that needs attention.”- Dr. Hoffman & Dr. Montoya
Dental Monitoring is a tool, not a replacement for specialist care. Every scan is reviewed by Dr. Hoffman or Dr. Montoya, not an algorithm or an offshore vendor. The standard does not change because the check is remote.
Fewer visits. Same care.
Dental Monitoring is included in your treatment fee. Most patients save four to six routine office visits over the course of treatment.
- No. 01Limit trips to the officeFor families driving in from Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, Orange Park, and Oakleaf, fewer routine visits is real time back in your week. Most patients save four to six office visits over the course of treatment.
- No. 02Issues get caught earlier, not laterCompliance, tray fit, and tooth-movement deviations are flagged between visits instead of accumulating until your next appointment. Catching a problem at week 6 is faster and cheaper than catching it at week 12.
- No. 03Same specialist, same careYour scans are reviewed by Dr. Hoffman or Dr. Montoya, not a remote vendor. Dental Monitoring is a tool we use, not a substitute for specialist care.
