Insurance & financing

Coverage, answered.

Does dental insurance cover orthodontic treatment?
Often, yes. Most PPO dental plans include a separate orthodontic benefit, though basic and some HMO plans do not. Our front-desk team verifies your specific orthodontic coverage at no charge before your consultation, so you know exactly where you stand.
What is the difference between a lifetime maximum and an annual maximum?
Orthodontic benefits usually carry a lifetime maximum, a one-time cap that applies per person for the life of the policy, rather than the annual maximum that resets each year for routine dental work. Once the orthodontic lifetime maximum is used, it does not refill. We factor yours in when we build your plan.
Is there an age cutoff for orthodontic coverage on my plan?
Many plans only pay orthodontic benefits for dependents under a set age, commonly the late teens or early twenties, and adult orthodontic coverage is less common. We confirm your plan’s age rules during the courtesy verification so there are no surprises.
Can I use my HSA or FSA for braces or aligners?
Yes. Orthodontic treatment is a qualified medical expense for HSA and FSA accounts, so you can pay with pre-tax dollars and lower the real cost. We provide itemized receipts for your account records whenever you need them.
What if I have no orthodontic insurance?
You still have a clear path. Many of our families pay without any orthodontic insurance using 0% in-house financing, HSA or FSA funds, or a paid-in-full courtesy. We build a plan around your budget and give you the full cost in writing at your complimentary consultation.
Do you offer a discount for more than one child in treatment?
Yes. We offer a courtesy when more than one family member is in treatment, along with a paid-in-full courtesy for families who settle upfront. Ask our team about current courtesies during your consultation.
